It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce the launch of Neighbourhood Watch for Knowle.
Neighbourhood Watch schemes have been successfully operating throughout the United Kingdom for many years and really do make a difference to your local community and your quality of life.
The scheme has the support of Hampshire Constabulary, Winchester City Council and the Wickham Parish Council, what we need now is your support to make Neighbourhood Watch for Knowle a success and to ensure that Knowle continues to be a pleasant place to live. One of the primary objectives is to make Knowle a safer community for us all. If we can reduce anti social behaviour and wilful damage this will keep our annual maintenance bill low as well as helping to keep property prices buoyant.
A core committee has been formed from volunteers however the scheme must have the support of at least 50% of the community before it can be recognised as an accredited Neighbourhood Watch. Please could you take the time to support this scheme. Neighbourhood Watch for Knowle requires nothing from you except for your support and vigilance. Please take the time to read the notices below.
